RENO (AP) - Police say two Reno men have been arrested for possessing child pornography following an investigation by an Internet crimes against children task force.
Authorities say 49-year-old Richard Allan Cassady is a registered sex offender with previous child pornography convictions in Washoe County and Pennsylvania.
Investigators allege Cassady had been posing as a 13-year-old girl on a social networking site to befriend young girls.
He was being held on $57,000 bail.
A taxicab driver, 51-year-old Richard Allen Lancaster, also was arrested.
Investigators say Lancaster was booked on three counts of possession of child pornography and distribution. His bail was set at $47,000.
