A retired naval officer who now runs a Minden-based military security company will speak at the Nevada Business Connections monthly breakfast meeting in Reno Nov. 5.
Robert Killion, vice president of Securing Our Country Inc., said the company employs some 5,600 people from around the world in the Iraq and Afghanistan war zones as contracted security personnel for military bases and convoys.
Killion said he will give a presentation about the company's efforts in the two war zones and will answer questions.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. at The Grove at South Creek, 95 Foothill Road, Reno. The meeting starts at 8 a.m. and should last one hour. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for all others.
