Obituary: Betty Marie Cody

Betty Marie Cody, 82, a Carson City resident died Oct. 24, 2009. She was born May 12, 1927, to Alvin and Irene (Tarnow) Cox in LaPorte, Ind. Among her survivors are husband Harold, son and daughter-in-law David and Laura Cody of Eugene, Ore., daughter and son-in-law Gail and J.R. Huffman of Clovis, Calif., five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. today at Autumn Funerals & Cremations, 1575 N. Lompa Lane. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Community, 3000 N. Lompa Lane. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
