Kenneth E. Bynum was born Dec. 2, 1939. He passed peacefully at Renown Regional Medical Center, Reno after a short illness Oct. 14, 2009.
Ken is survived by his beloved fiance Trish Floyd of Carson City, one great-grandson Vadin Morgan of Dayton, five children, fourteen grandchildren, two brothers and one sister all of North Carolina.
Private services were held for close friends and family at Carson Tahoe Regional Hospital.
Ken was a long time resident of Carson City. He worked as a security officer for the past eight years at Carson Tahoe Regional Hospital. Ken retired with full military honors after serving 22 years in the United States Air Force.
Ken enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching the San Francisco Giants. His passion was music including karaoke and was an accomplished singer.
Ken was a wonderful person and he will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him... and to have known him was to love him...bye for now Ken.
