Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Richard Kehres, 52, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:57 p.m. Sunday at Highway 50 East and Deer Run Road on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $20,000.
• Alfred John Corum, 39, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 4:30 a.m. Sunday at Country Village Drive and East Fifth Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving and misdemeanor failure to maintain lane. He also was arrested on a felony warrant out of Deschutes, Ore. Corum was indicted Aug. 5 by a grand jury there on eight counts of sexual assault in the first degree. Deschutes County District Attorney Michael Dugan would not release details of the charges. Records indicate the alleged offenses took place in July 1998. Corum is being held on $50,000 bail.
• Thaddeus John Aikenhead, 23, a tree climber from Elko, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. Saturday at East Fifth Street on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.
• Sergio David Perez, 25, of Dayton, was arrested at 11:28 p.m. Monday at South Curry and Sixth streets on two Fresno, Calif., felony warrants. No bail was set.
• A 22-year-old Dayton man was arrested at 3:46 p.m. outside a Winnie Lane restaurant and nightclub on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $1,539.
• Shawn Nicholas Sulli, 22, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:49 p.m. Saturday on suspicion of felony third-offense drunken driving, misdemeanor obstructing an officer, evading, speeding, driving on a license revoked for DUI and failure to use due care. Sulli allegedly fled a traffic stop on Ridge Point Drive. While fleeing the arresting officer, he allegedly jumped into Sheriff Ken Furlong's backyard and was captured by the sheriff. Bail was set at $10,000.
• Tamara Elizabeth Link, 22, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:49 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Colorado Drive on a felony warrant for failure to appear for sentencing on a charge of child neglect and endangerment. In 2006, her newborn infant daughter tested positive for methamphetamine and opiates passed to her in utero, according to a police report. The child is in foster care. Link is being held without bail.
• Robert Edward Slater Jr., 27, a newspaper employee, was arrested at 1:59 a.m. Friday at East Winnie Lane and Carson Street on suspicion of felony third-offense drunken driving, misdemeanor speeding, failure to use turn signal and having an open container of alcohol in vehicle. Bail was set at $10,174.
• Michael Gutierrez, 37, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:38 p.m. Friday at Fall and Adams streets on suspicion of felony battery with substantial bodily harm and misdemeanor battery. Bail was set at $16,132.

• Residential burglary report on Lucas Drive at 11:44 a.m.
• Two juveniles were arrested for assaulting a third juvenile at Sunland Park at 3:14 p.m.
• A man stole an 18-pack of beer then punched the clerk at 4:44 p.m. at 3389 Highway 50 East.
• Residential burglary report in the 3900 block of Tara Street at 8:49 p.m.
• Coroner call on Ormsby Boulevard at 10:01 p.m.
Sunday
• Coroner call at Northern Nevada Correctional Center at 4:54 a.m.
• Fight report on William Street at 1:04 p.m.
• Report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian on Country Village Drive at 9:21 p.m.
Saturday
• Report at 12:52 p.m. of a man and woman refusing to leave a South Carson Street motel room telling the clerk, they are "naked and all clothes are in the laundry." A misdemeanor arrest was made.
• Coroner call on Koontz Lane at 10:25 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Donner Trail in Silver Springs at 1:19 a.m.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 6:11 p.m.
• Felony arrest on Highway 50 East in Silver Springs at 8:39 p.m.
• Felony arrest on Soaring Way in Fernley at 8:49 p.m.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Deodar Street in Silver Springs at 8:50 p.m.
Saturday
• Report at 12:30 a.m. of a vehicle side-swiped in the 700 block of Highway 50 East.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Kathy Avenue in Yerington at 3:27 a.m.
• Coroner call on West Street in Fernley at 7 a.m.
• Felony arrest on Green Acres Lane in Mason Valley at 6:18 a.m.
• Felony arrest on Cory Way in Fernley at 8:33 p.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:
Monday
• Caller on Rocky Road reported chasing off a bear getting into his trash at 2:27 a.m.
• Report at 7:25 a.m. of a "couple coyotes hanging around" near R and Union streets. The caller was concerned for the safety of kids walking to school.
• Call at 9:29 a.m. of the V&T Railroad crossing "going off at different hours."
Sunday
• Fight report on North C Street at 3:10 a.m. An arrest was made.
• Report at 7:20 a.m. that the V&T Railroad crossing on South E Street went off three times in the 2 a.m. hour, one time in the 4 a.m. hour, two times in the 6 a.m. hour and two times in the 7 a.m. hour. The train was not running.
• Arrest on Peri Ranch Road at 8:03 a.m
• Caller on F Street reported V&T Railroad crossing on F Street went off eight times between 7:20 p.m. and 9:02 p.m.
Saturday
• Report at 8:25 a.m. that the V&T Railroad crossing on South F Street sounding 10 to 12 times during the night and early morning. The train was not running.
• Arrest on Canyon Way at 8:33 a.m.
• A woman on Avenue De La Couleurs reported at 8:51 a.m. that someone stole her dog from her backyard.
• Arrest on Six Mile Canyon Road at 6:01 p.m.
