Locals BBQ & Grill, 3849 S. Carson St., offers all-you-can-eat pork ribs on Tuesdays. The record stood at 27 ribs for four months until Aug. 25, when Jerry Nelson consumed 28 ribs. Half an hour later, Michael Manfredo grabbed the title by eating 30 ribs.
Manfredo, 67, of Carson City, said he could have eaten six or eight more.
