Nevada Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki says a new project will seek to document the stories of Nevada's veterans since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in 2001.
The stories from "Battle Born: Nevada War Stories" will be video and audio taped and posted on the lieutenant governor's Web site.
"In the almost eight years since the attacks of Sept. 11, American service members have been called to serve multiple tours in a war with at least two fronts," said Krolicki. "Battle Born will be a respectful and fitting tribute to the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines - and their families - who have given so much of themselves."
Krolicki says his office got involved in the issue two years ago when veteran Caleb Cage joined the staff. Cage is a senior policy adviser and he says the project will let current and future generations appreciate the personal perspectives of those who have served.
