RENO, Nev (AP) - A 33-year-old former Reno car salesman will spend at least two years in prison for threatening to kill two Nevada state troopers.
Robert Adam McGuffey was convicted in July of felony witness intimidation when he tried to get out of a drunken driving arrest in May.
McGuffeys threats were captured on a patrol car camera. He told one trooper: "I hope you are a quick draw...you wont be the first cop Ive killed...you wont be the last."
The ex-salesman at Jones West Ford also said he would use his connections to sabotage NHP vehicles serviced at the business, and to find out where the officers and their families lived.
Washoe District Court Judge Brent Adams sentenced him Wednesday to a maximum of up to six years in prison.
