Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Tanner Rust, 19, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:13 p.m. Thursday in the 3300 block of Desatoya Drive on suspicion of felony eluding a police officer, misdemeanor failure to stop at a stop sign and speeding. Bail was set at $20,189.

• A 44-year-old transient was arrested at 3:20 p.m. Thursday at South Carson Meadows Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor alternative sentencing violation. Bail was set at $3,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Vehicle burglary report on Sandstone Drive at 9:18 a.m.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 11:08 a.m.

• Report of medication stolen from a residence on Peakwood Drive at 11:49 a.m.

• Vehicle burglary report on Rhone Street at 1:22 p.m.

• Accident at Fairview and Edmonds drives at 1:38 p.m.

• A mother reported at 7:28 p.m. that a man in a nearby apartment on Saliman Road tried to touch her 15-year-old daughter. The 44-year-old man allegedly told the girl he'd buy her cigarettes for her and asked her not to tell his wife. He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor annoyance or molesting of a minor. A cash bail of $15,000 was set.

• A man reported fraudulent charges on his credit card after an Internet transaction.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Main Street in Fernley at 12:19 a.m.

• A Smith's employee detained a person for stealing a pack of Visine in Dayton at 2:24 a.m.

• A bicycle was reported stolen from Burger Road in Fernley at 6:21 a.m.

• Report at 9:10 a.m. of money stolen from the FISH cash register in Mark Twain.

• A bicycle was reported stolen from a porch on Shortcut Lane in Fernley at 1:11 p.m.

• Misdemeanor warrant arrest on Branstetter Avenue in Dayton at 2:13 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on North Main Street in Yerington at 3:47 p.m.

• A casino customer on West Newlands Drive reported her wallet was stolen at 6:54 p.m.
