TRUCKEE, Calif. (AP) - A single-engine plane crashed while departing from a small airport near Lake Tahoe, seriously injuring all four people aboard.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says the single-engine Cessna 206 crashed at 6:49 p.m. Monday night at Tahoe Truckee Airport and came to rest upside-down.
He says one person was airlifted to a hospital and three more were taken by ambulance, but had no further information on their injuries.
There was no immediate information on the crash's cause or the plane's destination.
Gregor says the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
FAA records show the plane was manufactured in 1966 and is registered to Trolan Enterprises LLC in Missoula, Montana.
