Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of East Hampton Drive on suspicion of minor consuming alcohol and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $835.
• A 26-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 10:44 p.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor criminal contempt. Bail was set at $500. Also arrested was a 35-year-old construction worker from Carson City on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. The men were questioned by police after allegedly setting off fireworks. Officer discovered one man had a warrant and the other was drinking alcohol while on probation. Both men denied knowing fireworks were illegal.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Report of three juveniles attempting to use a skateboard to hit a man on Lee Street at 12:03 p.m.
• A bicycle was stolen from the 3800 block of Imperial Way at 3:14 p.m.
• Accident at 3:15 p.m. on Old Clear Creek Road and Vista Grande Road.
• Accident at Thompson and Third streets at 5:02 p.m.
• A woman reported at 6:11 p.m. that her husband's former friend comes into her home and takes things.
• Report of methamphetamine found in a storage unit on Highway 50 East at 8:55 p.m.
