Sarah Ragsdale and Patrick Mahoney recently announced their engagement.
The couple plan to wed Aug. 6, 2010, in Boston, Mass. at Gate of Heaven Church.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dave and Kathi Ragsdale of Carson City.
She is a 2004 graduate of Carson High School. She graduated from the University of Nevada in 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in health ecology and received a master of public health in 2009 from Boston University.
She is currently employed in Boston by John Snow, Inc., a health consulting firm and for AIDS.gov as a new media associate.
The groom-to-be is the son of Mary and Dennis Mahoney of Norwell, Mass. He is a partner with Lynnwell Associates electrical contracting firm in Boston.
