All-breed dog show this weekend at Fuji Park

Bonanza Kennel Club of Carson City will host its annual all-breed AKC dog show Saturday and Sunday at Fuji Park.

There will be conformation, rally and obedience classes with more than 900 dogs entered in the show. Classes will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by group and best in show winners.

Best in show awards will be presented by Mayor Bob Crowell. There will be several specialty groups showing on Friday including: German Shorthaired Pointers, Papillons, Shetland Sheepdogs and Belgian Tervurens.

German Shorthaired Pointers also will be holding field trial and hunting test classes on Saturday.
