Aces set to begin second campaign

RENO - The Reno Aces will kick-off their second season at 6:05 p.m. today against the Fresno Grizzlies in front of a sellout crowd at Aces Ballpark.

The Aces and Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will meet for a four-game series. Friday and Saturday night's games will be 7:05 p.m. starts, with Sunday's matinee set to begin at 1:05 p.m.

Also today, SK Baseball will unveil its newest downtown development, the Freight House District.

The year-round dining and entertainment complex adjacent to Aces Ballpark will be opened to the public for the first time, with both Duffy's Ale House and Bugsy's Sports Bar and Grill open for business starting at 2 p.m. this afternoon.

Friday night, the Aces will be giving away 2,500 magnet schedules.

Saturday night, 3,000 fans will receive an Aces fleece blanket.

The first Aces homestand of the season will conclude with a four-game set against the Salt Lake Bees, to take place Monday through Thursday of next week. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday's games will begin at 6:05 p.m., with a 1:05 p.m. start slated for Wednesday afternoon.

Single-game tickets for all games start at just $7, while ticket plans for the 2010 season start at just $220.
