Fran Norton/Nevada AppealCarson City deputies chased a man Tuesday afternoon after he fled police in his red Sports Utility Vehicle.
A man who led Carson City deputies in a car chase this afternoon is now in handcuffs after slamming into a deputy's vehicle on Deer Run Road.
The man, who has not yet been named, was pulled over for a traffic violation on Roop and Long streets, but fled police in his car.
He led deputies onto the freeway, College Parkway and then Deer Run Road where his vehicle hit a deputy's car at 3:48 p.m.
