Francisco "Cisco" Melendez

Cisco was born and raised in Carson City. He was a natural born athlete. He began playing sports with AYSO soccer and played on many soccer teams simultaneously. He also started T-ball here in Carson City and worked his way up to the Carson High School and Carson City Capitals then moved on and played a couple years at Cerro Coso Community College and most recently with the Reno Astros.
He is survived by his mother Shawna Martin; father and stepmother Geraldo and Valerie Melendez; siblings Eric, Sara, Diego, Alan, Alicia and Cara; grandparents Gerardo and Nena Menendez, Carol Limasa, Cossette Melendez-Cuellar and Lyman Andrews; uncles John, Terry, Michael, Kevin, Flavio, Julio, Wilbur, Wade, Juan and Rob; aunts Sheri, Keri, Mona, Claudia, Magdalena, Adela, Heather and Melanie; nephews Alan, Ethan, Jayden and Diego; nieces Kelsey, Alexix and Jasmine; and cousins Tara, Nicole, Markoz, Nathan, Sammy, Joey, Monica, Colby, Ashton, Ryan, Richard, Andrew, Kirk, Claudia, Evan, Joanna, Jessica and Adela.
