The team was comprised of players from Gardnerville, Carson City and surrounding areas.
The Carson Futbol Club U17 girls took first place at the Stanford Spring Classic recently.
Carson, coached by Randy Roser and Cassie Carter, beat Castro Valley United, 2-1, in the finals. Carson tied Humboldt United 0-0, beat Castro Valley United 3-2 and beat Sonoma SC 1-0 to reach the final game.
