RENO - Ed Rogers' walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth gave Reno a series split as it beat Salt Lake 7-6 on Thursday night.
Reno took the lead in the first on a Jeff Bailey two-run home run to left, his second of the season. The Bees tied the game in ninth, setting the stage for the rally.
Sean Coughlin led off with an opposite-field double. After a sacrifice bunt and two intentional walks, Rogers fouled off a suicide squeeze attempt before lining the game-winning single to left.
Reno starting pitcher Bryan Augenstein tossed five innings, allowing four earned runs before giving way to the Reno bullpen. Daniel Stange (2-0) earned his second win of the season.
