'Wave of Love' joins 'Tree of Love' at Carson Tahoe

The Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Auxiliary has created a new "Wave of Love" and will eventually display about 200 leaves which will be individually engraved with loved ones names, etc. It is displayed close to the gift shop in the lobby of the medical center.

The original "Tree of Love" was created in 1988 by Eleanor Whitney Nelson. It is completely filled with engraved leaves of loved ones and is hanging in our new Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center on the second floor.

The sculpture is a unique way to recognize those who have made minimum donations of $25 to the Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Auxiliary's memorial fund in honor of loved ones and special events, such as births or anniversaries.

Gifts are used by the auxiliary to purchase medical equipment for the hospital.

For more information, call 882-3936. Donations may also be made, with the name of the person to be remembered, directly to: Memorial Chairperson, Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Auxiliary, c/o Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, P.O. Box 2168, Carson City, NV 89702.
