CourtesyEric Stephen Willems and Rebecca Lynn Fischer are planning a May wedding at Lake Tahoe.
Dr. and Mrs. Michael J. Fischer of Carson City announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Lynn Fischer, to Eric Stephen Willems, son of Vicki Hodgson of Warroad, Minn., and the late Stephen Earl Willems.
The bride-to-be graduated from Carson High School in 1998.
She is a 2003 graduate of the University of North Dakota with a bachelor of science degree in education and human development. She received a master of science degree in kinesiology from the University of North Dakota in 2005, and is employed by School District 690 in Warroad.
Willems graduated from Accelerated Christian Academy in 2002. He will graduate from Kaplan University in the field of psychology in 2012. He is employed by Doug's Supermarket in Roseau, Minn.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, May 15 at Lakeshore Lodge Beachfront in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., with a reception to follow at the Carson City Plaza.
