CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Democratic gubernatorial front-runner Rory Reid says Arizona's new immigration law is "wrong-headed."
In a statement issued Monday, Reid said the law signed Friday by Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer opens the door to racial profiling - a belief shared by thousands who protested in Arizona over the weekend.
Brewer has ordered officials to develop training for officers to learn what constitutes reasonable suspicion that someone is in the U.S. illegally.
Reid says it's impossible to tell if someone is in the country illegally by the way they look, dress or speak.
