Reno police seek suspect in drug store holdups

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police are looking for a suspect who held up two pharmacies, taking prescriptions drugs.

Investigators say the first one happened Monday around 2:30 p.m. at the Smith's store on South Meadows Parkway. They say the man produced a note demanding certain drugs and indicating that he had a gun.

About four hours later, police say a similar robbery occurred at a CVS Pharmacy on South Virginia Street.

The suspect in both is described as a while male in his 20s, about 5-foot-10 with a thin to medium build. He was wearing a white, striped sweat shirt and blue jeans.
