Camp out and watch meteor shower
Friends of the Black Rock/High Rock will host the Perseids Meteor Shower Campout today through Sunday in Black Rock Desert.
The campout coincides with the Perseids meteor which should give a good show throughout the week. Venus, Mars and Saturn will be close to the crescent moon tonight, making for an extra spectacular show.
Camp host is Will Roger, vice president of the Friends of Black Rock/High Rock and Burning Man board member. This is a remote location with no available services nor shade of any kind. Come prepared.
