A television crew will film the mechanical bull riding at Doppelgangers tonight starting at 9 p.m.
The show, Xtreme Tourist, is produced by a crew based in Salt Lake City and follows host Ernie Harker to various hot spots for extreme sports, including Lake Tahoe and the surrounding region.
Producer Heather Henderson said the crew was filming in Virginia City on Monday and met the DJ who supplies the mechanical bull to Carson City's Doppelgangers and decided to film a segment at the brewery.
Henderson said the show is carried on 250 local channels around the nation and is available to about 80 percent of the U.S. television market. The show is not shown in Northern Nevada, but does play in Las Vegas.
