Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Chad R. Hunter, 40, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:39 p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony domestic battery with substantial bodily harm, domestic battery with strangulation, misdemeanor second-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $25,132.
• A 53-year-old transient was arrested at 4:51 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Winnie Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny, trespassing and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,557.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Residential burglary report in the 1800 block of North Lompa Lane at 6:41 a.m.
• Report of a wallet found in bushes in the 4600 block of South Carson Street at 7:25 a.m.
• A woman reported at 4:55 p.m. her vehicle was broken into earlier while it was parked between Secret Harbor and Thunderbird Lodge.
• Report of a home in the 5100 block of Goni Road burglarized at 8:56 p.m.
