A man dressed in a ball cap and concert T-shirt slipped a note to a teller at Mutual of Omaha bank this afternoon and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Carson City police are looking for a white male in his 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds with blond hair, which is shaved on the sides.
He was wearing a black baseball cap, blue jeans and a red AC/DC T-shirt that pictured band member Angus Young drinking from a bottle. The suspect also had on white tennis shoes with green stripes and was carrying a black backpack.
Carson City Sheriff's Detective Bob Motamenpour said the robber entered through the east doors of the bank at the corner of William and Carson streets and went directly to the center teller about 12:30 p.m. He did not display a weapon, but slipped the teller a note.
"He had a brief conversation with the teller, then got the money and out the door he went," said Motamenpour.
The robber then crossed west at Carson Street on foot.
Agents with the FBI responded within the hour.
