Western Title staff receives certification

Stacy Spickes, co-founder and president of America¹s Home Rescue, announced

that they have awarded Certified Default Resolution Closing Specialist

certification to the 11 members of the escrow and marketing teams of Western

Title Company of Carson City.

Western Title is the only Northern Nevada title company to receive the

designation.

The CDRCS certification is unique to the real estate industry. It focuses

specifically on the information, tools and processes needed for the escrow

officers and closing attorneys in the proper closing of a short sale

transaction.

"It is imperative that closing officers have a course that is unique to

them, apart from what real estate agents need to know," Spickes said.

"I think this is a great course and it¹s great to find a designation for the

title and escrow industry," said Chad Felix, sales manager at Western Title.

Western Title Company is one of the largest insurance agencies in Northern

Nevada and has been serving the area since 1902.
