Obituary: Carol L. Crosby Harlan

Carol L. Crosby Harlan passed away on Aug. 16, 2010, at Manor Care Health Center in Reno. Carol was born Oct. 6, 1942, in Lake Hurst, N.J. She attended Carson City schools from first through 12th grade, graduating from Carson High School in 1960. Carol worked for the State of Nevada for 28 years as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Carol is preceded in death by her sister Betty Horton. She is survived by her son James Simmons, daughter Lisa Gonzalez and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her parents Donald and Dorothy Crosby and her sister Mary Barry. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27 at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
