Frieda Agnes Darland Bottoms Hoffman, 101, formerly of Gardnerville, died Aug. 6, 2010. She was born July 19, 1909, in Meriden, Kan., to Doane A. and Mollie Barry Darland. She is preceded in death by husbands John O. Bottoms and Ira J. Hoffman; and son Duane E. Bottoms. She is survived by son Noel L. Bottoms of Gardnerville; stepdaughter Sandra Hoffman Bodensteiner of Boise, Idaho; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sept. 4 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
