Sharron Angle's a mover and shaker

Sharron Angle is apparently a woman of few words who speaks directly to the point, so if you're a concerned person without sufficient knowledge about your concern, let her know.

Her past seems to indicate she's a mover and shaker, so be prepared. I think she will keep many in Congress

honest.

With regards to government creating jobs, absolutely not. They have, however, been good at eliminating jobs over the past 40 years. In the 1980s and in similar circumstances, the government did create a job plan that worked. Deficit spending was part of the plan. It all worked because the economy hadn't yet been fully sliced and diced by Congress.

As for Social Security, our past and present leadership in Congress has made a mess of it and everything else. Under different congressional leadership, changes might be minimal and simple.

No place for ousted principal in district

So (former) Principal Sam Santillo pleads guilty for drunk driving and is leaving his post as principal and will maintain his $100,000 salary while serving as the district's administrator of the Medicaid program.

Did Superintendent Richard Stokes create this position for his friend Santillo? Who held or was transferred to another position/department to make room for Santillo? What salary was paid to the person who had the position before Santillo was given the reassignment position - less than $100,000?

Superintendent Stokes stated that Santillo's new assignment is meant to assist the school district in its work. Must be referring to the D.A.R.E. programs run by the sheriff's department.

Santillo was sentenced to 42 hours of community service and approximately $700 in fines. I wonder if Santillo will do his community service with the D.A.R.E. program?

Bottom line, we do not need any educator, let alone a principal, possessing marijuana and driving while intoxicated.
