The ESL In-Home Program would like to encourage people to dedicate one to two hours out of their weekly schedule to become a volunteer tutor to an adult who is eager to learn to speak, read, write and understand English.
The ESL In-Home Program of Northern Nevada is a nonprofit organization that offers one-on-one English tutoring in the student's home at no cost.
The program is in great need of help from the community to continue offering services to new clients. The organization cannot continue to take on new students without more volunteer tutors.
The organization provides all training and materials that the tutor will need at no cost. By helping to tear down language barriers, tutors are helping to create a more unified community.
