SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-Despite a huge night from D.J. Strawberry, the Reno Bighorns lost their first game of the season Saturday night, as the Sioux Falls Skyforce toppled the Bighorns in Sioux Falls Arena, 91-84.
The Skyforce had a 61-41 lead midway through the third quarter, however the Bighorns would fight back in the fourth, cutting the Skyforce lead to 87-84 with 2:20 left in the game, but Sioux Falls would score the game's final four points to hand Reno its first loss of the season.
D.J. Strawberry led the Bighorns in scoring with 21 points, while Aaron Miles chipped in with 14 points and eight assists. Chris Davis added 10 points of the bench for Reno, which failed to break the 90-point threshold for the first time this season.
