The city's Redevelopment Authority Citizens Committee meets Monday to discuss making a recommendation to the Redevelopment Authority regarding the use of sales tax reimbursement incentive agreements.

The proposed policy would provide the opportunity for commercial property owners with existing vacant buildings to apply for a sales tax reimbursement agreement similar to recent agreements that have been executed for other properties by April 1 of next year.

The committee also is slated to discuss a commendation for Supervisor Robin Williamson for her work on the Redevelopment Authority, a request to spend $15,000 from the 2011-12 Redevelopment Agency Revolving Fund to support various annual fairs within the city and a final wayfinding sign design.

The meeting is at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Sierra Room of the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St. Go to www.carson.org to download an agenda.
