Congratulations to the following debaters for placing at the Reno High tournament Nov. 19 and 20.
Jules Powell, sixth place in senior dramatic interpretation. Reice Guerrero and Luis Becarra, fifth place in senior duo interpretation. Ray Johnannessen, fourth place in novice dramatic interpretation. Edgar Casildo, third place in senior storytelling, and Jennifer Dodge, third place in novice storytelling.

The CHS Ski Team will be putting on its annual fundraiser Dec. 10 at the Carson City Community Center.
At 7 p.m. they will be showing Matchstick Production's "The Way I See It" (ski film) and at 8 p.m. Standard Film's "Stormin'" (snowboard film).
Tickets will be available through ski team athletes or at CV Sports.

This week's senior spotlight is on Carley Allison. Carley has a grade-point average of 4.39 and is currently enrolled in AP literature, AP government, human anatomy, ceramics, and sports medicine II.
In addition, Carley is the varsity football and basketball manager. She is a representative on the CHS Judicial Board and a member of National Honor Society and Health Occupations Students of America.
Carley plans to pursue a degree in sports management/business administration and is in the process of applying to numerous colleges.
We are proud of the contributions Carley has made to Carson High School.
