Max Raymond Lewis, 89, was born Jan. 28, 1921, in Galt, Calif., to Les and Eva Lewis. He entered into eternal peace Dec. 15, 2010, in Carson City. Max attended the Boeing School of Aeronautics and Aircraft Engine Mechanics and flew with air transport during WWII. He started in the casino industry in 1958 and retired in 1980. Throughout his life, he was an avid Nevada hunter and fisherman. Max is survived by his wife of 54 years, Norlene Lewis; daughter Sandy Trojan (Dan); son Bryan Lewis (Jackie); grandchildren Tracy Brecke, Nick Lewis, Katie Lewis, Amy Lewis, and Tyler Trojan. Arrangements are entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
