Style guru Carson Kressley came to the Carson Mall on Tuesday with a crew to gather footage for a new makeover show.
The show, "Carson Nation," is expected to premier on the Oprah Winfrey Network next spring or summer. It is hosted by Kressley, a style expert of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" fame.
Kevin Ray, the property manager of the Carson Mall, said people came to the mall to watch the film crew work.
"People were really happy to see a little Hollywood glamour appear in Carson City," Ray said.
For the show, Kressley is visiting towns around the United States and is offering people makeovers while showcasing the towns on national television.
On Tuesday he was picking out clothing and accessories at shops inside the Carson Mall, including It's All About Me Fine Clothing and Bellissimo, for his Carson City makeover.
