Possible changes to Carson City's telephone emergency reporting system will be discussed during the board of supervisors meeting Thursday.
Some of the proposed changes include requiring the board of supervisors to review the emergency telephone master plan annually and allowing supervisors to increase the fund balance from $500,000 to $1 million.
Also scheduled for possible action or to be heard Thursday are a report on the Nevada Division of Forestry's wildland fire management activities in Carson City; the Open Space Division Work Program; issuance of
$7.9 million in motor vehicle fuel tax bonds for street and highway construction; issuing bonds for financing sewer projects; issuing bonds for financing water projects; and amending the agreement between the city and the Sheriff's Supervisory Association to recognize the title of captain.
