HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Henderson police say a 19-year-old woman facing two charges of drunken driving causing death had a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit at the scene of a crash that killed two people.
Police said Wednesday that Anita Mann couldn't perform any field sobriety tests, and a Breathalyzer showed she had a blood-alcohol percentage of 0.267 after her car plowed into the back of an SUV.
Louis Madden and Karen Hicks, both 65 from Henderson, were killed in the Tuesday morning crash.
Police now say another motorist reported that Mann's car hit his vehicle at another intersection before the fatal crash.
Mann is a supply clerk with the Nevada Army National Guard's 100th Quartermaster Company, which specializes in water purification.
