Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Shawn Andrew Coughlin, 19, a restaurant employee from Carson City, was arrested at 2:21 a.m. Feb. 13 on Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony giving false identification to avoid prosecution, possession of marijuana and a warrant for violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $10,000.
• A 21-year-old Tahoe City woman was arrested at 10:07 a.m. Friday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor indecent exposure, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. The woman was allegedly jumping fences into backyards and showing her breasts to people. According to the arrest report, when the deputy confronted her she flashed him, too. Bail was set at $2,101.
• An 18-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 7:56 p.m. Friday in the 3100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor and a warrant charging the same thing. He and a 15-year-old girl were allegedly "huffing" canned air in the teen's vehicle. The girl was released to her father. Bail was set at $1,332.
• A 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 2:44 a.m. Tuesday in the 1600 block of Airport Road on suspicion of second-offense drunken driving, misdemeanor driving without a valid license, and speeding. Bail was set at $2,500.
• Ron James Ashland, 19, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 12:43 a.m. Monday in the 3000 block of North Roop Street on suspicion of felony burglary and misdemeanor possession of heroin paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,632.
• Jesse Lynn Cox, 49, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 4:28 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of East William Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor open and gross lewdness. He was spotted urinating in a parking lot by a passing officer. Bail was set at $2,500.
• Daniel Lee Hopper, 31, of Carson City, a coin shop employee, was arrested at 1:08 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of East William Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor indecent exposure and misdemeanor indecent conduct. He allegedly exposed himself to a passing vehicle on State Street. Bail was set at $3,132.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded recently:
• Coroner call in the 2100 block of East Long Street at 8:33 a.m. Sunday.
• Coroner call in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue at 12:05 a.m. Sunday.
• A mother reported at 1:15 p.m. Sunday she hadn't seen her 24-year-old daughter since 1 p.m. Friday.
• Accident at South Carson Street and Old Clear Creek Road at 6:52 p.m. Sunday.
• Report of shots fired in the 1100 block of Janas Way at 10:37 p.m.
• Report of shoplifters running away from Walmart with stolen items at 12:21 a.m. One stole markers and the other stole hats and gloves. Stolen items were recovered from a Dumpster on Basque Way. An arrest was made.
• A vehicle struck the side wall of the bypass onramp from Highway 50 East on the bypass at 8:09 a.m. Monday.
• Coroner call at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of Highway 50 East.
• Coroner call in the 100 block of Koontz Lane at 10:41 a.m. Monday.
• A repo man reported he was attempting to repossess a vehicle on Bunch Way and the registered owner was blocking them from collecting the car at 1:11 p.m. Monday.
• Report of a reckless driver causing an accident in the 1900 block of Highway 50 East at 2:21 p.m. Monday.
• Report at 3:55 p.m. Monday of a U-Haul truck being overdue since Feb. 15.
• Report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian near Gibson Avenue and leaving the scene at 6:30 p.m. Monday. The pedestrian was not injured.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
• Misdemeanor arrest in the 1500 block of Highway 50 East at 1:39 a.m. in Fernley.
• Report of a vehicle burglary overnight on Ring Road in Dayton.
• A woman said she found "stolen solar panels" on her property on Hooten Street in Silver Springs at 10:37 a.m.
• Coroner call in the 300 block of Industrial Drive in Fernley at 11:31 a.m. Call came in as a semi-truck driver "passed out" in his cab.
• Felony arrest on East Main Street in Fernley at 3:35 p.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded recently:
• An 80-foot-long semi truck and a UPS truck were stuck in the snow on McCarran Drive at 1:05 p.m. Monday.
• Report at 8:15 p.m. Monday of five wild horses in a front lawn on Rue De La Chartreuse.
• Report at 10:42 a.m. Sunday of wild horses on McCarran.
• Accident on State Route 341 at 8:41 p.m. Sunday.
