The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada will present its Fine Art Exhibit 3-6 p.m. Friday at the club at 1870 Russell Way.
The public is encouraged to attend and admire some of the wonderful artwork created by local youths as well as to visit its new clubhouse.
The exhibit is part of a national fine arts program among more than 4,300 clubs across the country. The goal is to identify talented young artists.
As participants in the National Fine Art's Exhibit, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada may submit member's artwork in four age divisions and 10 categories. Selected artwork will be screened at the regional level and a limited number will be sent to BGCA's Atlanta headquarters for judging at the national level.
Thirty-seven national winners will be named and their artwork displayed at special events throughout the year.
