Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Dereck Brendonray Ruane, 20, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 7:17 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Roop Street on suspicion of felony possession of counterfeit drugs for sale. Ruane allegedly had a dietary supplement, used in cutting methamphetamine, which he intended to sell as methamphetamine, the report states. Bail was set at $2,500.

• Thomas Allen Wilson, 20, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Corbett Street on suspicion of felony burglary. Bail was set at $25,000.

• A 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 4:52 a.m. at Kit Sierra Circle and Nye Lane on two misdemeanor warrants for domestic battery and a third misdemeanor warrant for battery. Bail was set at $6,399.

• A 51-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 12:26 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Koontz Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a stalking order. Bail was set at $1,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Identity theft report on Yale Drive at 9:18 a.m.

• Report of a 4-year-old child sitting barefoot and without pants on a curb at Allouette Way and East Fifth Street at 10:24 a.m.

• A mother reported at 3:37 p.m. her daughter was being threatened by a classmate.

• Accident at 4:44 p.m. at Old Hot Springs Road and Goni Road.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Vehicle burglary report on Northgate Drive in Fernley at 7:24 a.m.

• Report of someone trying to pass a counterfeit bill at a Fernley grocery store at 9:53 a.m.

• A Channel 8 News truck got into an accident with a Fernley taxi at 1:30 p.m. on Mull Lane.

• Report of a driver almost hitting another vehicle on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 4:35 p.m.
