Nevada Association of Counties swears in officers

Carson City Supervisor Robin Williamson was sworn in Monday as president of the Nevada Association of Counties by Carson City Mayor Bob Crowell. Also sworn in were Douglas County Commissioner Doug Johnson as president elect, and Mineral County Commissioner Jerrie Tipton as vice president. Washoe County Commissioner Bonnie Weber is past president.

Supervisor Robin Williamson was elected to be a Carson City Supervisor in November 1998, and serves as chair of the Carson City Redevelopment Authority. She also represents the city on the Carson Water Subconservancy District and serves on the Western Nevada College Foundation.

NACO, formed in 1924, represents all 17 Nevada counties and is an affiliate of the National Association of Counties.
