Brian Sandoval raised more than $900,000 in just three months after stepping down from the federal district court bench and announcing his candidacy for governor.

As of Dec. 31, his campaign reported $902,832. They also reported $146,566 in expenditures thus far.

Financial disclosure statements detailing fundraising and spending are due for all announced candidates by 5 p.m. Friday - including incumbent Republican Gov. Jim Gibbons.

Sandoval has received several key endorsements - rare for a Republican candidate facing an incumbent in the same party - including that of state Senate Minority Leader Bill Raggio.
