Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Tracey Jo Hamman, 42, a student from Gardnerville, was arrested at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony obtaining a controlled substance or prescription. According to the arrest report, Hamman, who worked at a doctor's office, allegedly called in about 40 fraudulent prescriptions to pharmacies in the city. She was released on her own recognizance.
• Karina Marie Decender, 19, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $16,132.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• Nine reports of graffiti at various locations on Woodside Drive.
• Coroner call in the 3000 block of Ormsby Boulevard at 8:39 a.m.
• Non-injury accident at Lompa Lane and Northridge Drive at 4:24 p.m.
• A shoplifter was cited at Sac N Save at 5:12 p.m.
• Report at 6:13 p.m. of a radio-controlled car stolen from Hobby Town.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• Report of a fight at Fernley High School at 8:28 a.m.
• Residential burglary report on Fox Lane at 3:40 p.m. in Mason Valley.
