Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Thursday at Lee and Roop streets on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to stop for a police officer, first-offense drunken driving, probation violation, obstructing an investigation and failure to have a light on license plate. No bail was set.

• A 26-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 10 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,964.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Accident at New Ridge and Northridge drives at 8:20 a.m.

• Report of a garbage truck hitting a vehicle at Fourth and Carson streets at 11:37 a.m.

• A woman called police at 3 p.m. to report she had put $40 on the wrong pump at AM/PM on South Carson Street, "and the gas station employee refuses to transfer the money to the right pump or give her a refund."

• A woman reported her niece and nephew stole her camcorder and jewelry between February and June.

• A juvenile was cited for shoplifting at Save Mart on South Carson Street at 6:21 p.m.

• Report of a 1998 Dutch motor home missing from Camp 'N Town at 7:12 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of a flag missing from Relief Springs Road in Fernley at 9:25 a.m.

• A man went into the Silver Springs substation at 11:14 p.m. to report that "roaming cows" had damaged his property.
