Lakers 98, Magic 92
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Shannon Brown scored a career-high 22 points, Pau Gasol had 17 points and 10 rebounds, and the Los Angeles Lakers scored the first 15 points of the fourth quarter Monday night for a 98-92 victory over the Orlando Magic in the first rematch of last season's NBA finals.
Kobe Bryant scored just 11 points on 4-of-19 shooting, but his teammates carried the Lakers to their 18th win in 19 home games in a remarkable fourth-quarter rally led almost entirely by reserves.
Brown scored nine points in the fourth, while Lamar Odom and Jordan Farmar combined to dominate the opening minutes of the final period.
Dwight Howard had 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Magic, who wrapped up a four-game road trip with their seventh loss in nine games.
Mavericks 99, Celtics 90
BOSTON (AP) - Dirk Nowitzki had 37 points, scoring nine in a row during a third-quarter run that gave the Mavericks the lead for good, and Dallas beat Boston.
Jason Kidd scored 13 points and added 17 assists for the Mavericks, who had lost three of their previous four games, including a 22-point loss at Toronto on Sunday.
Paul Pierce scored 24 points, Ray Allen scored 21, Kendrick Perkins had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Rajon Rondo had 12 assists for Boston, which has lost three straight at home. The Celtics have lost four of their last six overall, and they are 4-7 since beating the defending Eastern Conference champion Magic in Orlando on Christmas Day.
Wizards 97, Trail Blazers 92
WASHINGTON (AP) - Antawn Jamison scored 21 of his 28 points after halftime, Caron Butler made two big baskets down the stretch and Washington put together a rare winning streak with a victory over Portland.
Jamison was 3 for 10 from the field at halftime, but he shot 7 of 11 in the second half in a game that was close throughout. The victory gave the Wizards two wins in a row - only the fourth time they've accomplished that in a distressing season that includes last week's guilty plea to a felony gun charge by three-time All-Star Gilbert Arenas.
Randy Foye added 19 points and Butler had 18 for the Wizards, who made 25 of 28 free throws and shot 52 percent from the field.
Andre Miller scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half before fouling out with 19 seconds to play, LaMarcus Aldridge also scored 22 points and had a season-high 15 rebounds, and Martell Webster added 18 points for the Trail Blazers, who had a two-game winning streak snapped as they opened a four-game road trip.
Knicks 99, Pistons 91
NEW YORK (AP) - Nate Robinson showed his game is much more than dunks, scoring 27 points to lead New York to a victory and a split of a home-and-home series with Detroit.
Chosen earlier in the day to defend his slam dunk title at All-Star weekend, Robinson made five 3-pointers, one during a 7-0 spurt that started the fourth quarter and gave the Knicks the lead for good.
Fellow reserve Al Harrington and Wilson Chandler each added 17 points as the Knicks bounced back from consecutive losses, including Saturday's 94-90 defeat in Detroit, and improved to 18-6 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Rodney Stuckey scored 22 for the short-handed Pistons, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
Thunder 94, Hawks 91
ATLANTA (AP) - Kevin Durant scored 29 points, Jeff Green had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Oklahoma City ended Atlanta's three-game winning streak.
Oklahoma City improved to 15-4 against the Eastern Conference.
Durant made his first 14 free-throw attempts before his 15th bounced off the rim in the final seconds. Atlanta's Josh Smith called timeout in mid-air after grabbing the rebound.
Jamal Crawford, who defeated Phoenix with a buzzer-beating, 3-pointer on Friday, missed a straightaway 3 as time expired.
Joe Johnson scored 23 points for the Hawks. Smith had 18 points and 12 assists for Atlanta, which had won five of six.
Bobcats 105, Kings 103
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Gerald Wallace shook off an ankle injury to score 28 points, Raymond Felton finished a rebound shy of a triple-double and Charlotte held off a furious Sacramento comeback bid.
The Bobcats' fifth straight win and eighth in a row at home proved more difficult than expected.
The Kings, who rallied from a 35-point deficit to win in Chicago last month, nearly pulled off a similar feat. Charlotte led 82-58 with 4 minutes left in the third quarter before Tyreke Evans helped the Kings get within a point.
But Felton made some key baskets to put Charlotte above .500 this late in a season for the first time in team history.
Rockets 101, Bucks 98, OT
HOUSTON (AP) - Luis Scola scored a season-high 27 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, Aaron Brooks dished out 10 assists to offset a bad shooting game and Houston beat Milwaukee in overtime.
Carl Landry and Chase Budinger scored 12 points apiece for the Rockets, who have won the last 10 meetings with the Bucks in Houston. Brooks went 5 for 21 from the field, including 1 of 7 from 3-point range.
Brandon Jennings scored 25 points and Andrew Bogut had 18 points and 17 rebounds for the Bucks, who return home after dropping five of six games on a 10-day road trip.
Clippers 106, Nets 95
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Chris Kaman had 22 points and seven rebounds in his return to the lineup, and Los Angeles snapped a four-game skid.
Kaman, who missed the previous four games with a sore lower back after being the only Clipper to play in each of the first 35 contests, played 30 minutes and made 10 of 16 shots. Marcus Camby had 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Craig Smith added 18 points off the bench.
The Clippers shot 55.6 percent, improving to 10-4 when they're at 50 percent or better. Point guard Baron Davis had nine points and nine assists before sitting out the fourth quarter.
Timberwolves 108, 76ers 103, OT
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Jonny Flynn had a career-high 29 points and nine assists and Minnesota rallied from 20 points down to beat Philadelphia in overtime.
Al Jefferson added 23 points and 13 rebounds to help the Timberwolves complete their biggest comeback of the season against the stunned Sixers.
Andre Iguodala had 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Sixers but missed a jumper at the buzzer that would have given Philadelphia the win in regulation.
Flynn had four points and a key steal in the first minute of the extra period to get the Wolves on track for just their ninth victory of the season.
Spurs 97, Hornets 90
NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Tony Parker scored 25 points and San Antonio handed New Orleans a rare home loss.
Tim Duncan added 21 points and 14 rebounds, while George Hill scored 16 points and Manu Ginobili had 11 to help the Spurs snap a two-game losing streak.

Warriors 114, Bulls 97
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Monta Ellis had 36 points, eight assists and five rebounds, Corey Maggette added 32 points, six rebounds and five assists and short-handed Golden State snapped a three-game losing streak.
Stephen Curry had 26 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and Andris Biedrins grabbed a season-high 19 rebounds to go with a career-best eight blocked shots as Golden State ended Chicago's four-game winning streak.
Grizzlies 125, Suns 118
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Rudy Gay scored 31 points, Zach Randolph added 27 points and 11 rebounds and Memphis finished a four-game home stretch undefeated.
O.J. Mayo added 28 points for Memphis, which extended its franchise-best home winning streak to nine games. Marc Gasol had 19 points.
Six Suns were in double figures led by Steve Nash with 22 points and 12 assists. Robin Lopez had a career-high 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field, and Grant Hill scored 16. Leandro Barbosa finished with 14, and Amare Stoudemire added 12 points and nine rebounds. Louis Amundson had 10 points for the Suns, who dropped their fourth straight.
