Curry engine house rush: A man rushed into the Curry engine house wanting a fire alarm rung. The cause of his excitement revealed that three red-headed girls had stopped to talk in the street.

Tales from Pant about Benton near Mono Lake: where there is a saloon to every 10 inhabitants, and a stream of hot soda water running down each side of the street. One of Benton's most worthy citizens said that it was near Benton that Noah's ark anchored and the first dove landed on dry land - and a saloon built upon the spot.

Costco's building plans were presented with plans for building on land near Fuji Park. The outside of the 148,486-square-foot building has elements of a ski lodge.
