SPARKS (AP) - Sparks police say they are investigating the shooting of two teens.

Police say the shooting happened Sunday night. Two teens, ages 16 and 17, say they were followed by two men in a vehicle. Sparks police Sgt. John Franz says the teens said a man got out of the vehicle and started firing at them with a shotgun.

Franz says the teens tried to flee on foot but were hit with several rounds from the shotgun. Both were transported to a hospital.

One of the teens suffered multiple facial fractures and a collapsed lung and was listed in critical but stable condition.

The other teen was treated and released. Police are looking for a suspect.
