Learn how to prune your fruit trees for better results.
University of Nevada Cooperative Extension is offering a free Master Gardener workshop, "Training and Pruning Fruit Trees," presented by Master Gardener Michael Janik at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at Bartley Ranch in Reno.
Janik will discuss how to prune and train your fruit trees to maximize their production and keep them looking good. He will also discuss how to restore older trees.
Upcoming workshop topics include: Feb. 9 - Rose Care and Selection 101; Feb. 16 - Raising Small Livestock in an Urban Environment; and Feb. 23 - Understanding Proper Tree Care.
