George Andrew "Bud" Silk died Jan. 19, 2010, in Reno. He was born March 5, 1909, in Windsor, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen. He is survived by his children, Kathy Silk, Margie Watson (Brad), and Ken Silk (Julie); grandchildren, Damon, Levi, Brian, and Rebecca; and great-grandchildren, Jude and Lucy Vee. The family will hold a private gathering in his honor. Walton's Funerals and Cremations, Gardnerville is in charge of arrangements.
